Ohia Ridge Farm

We are dedicated to diversifying the existing native montane forest and preserving habitat for rare plants and endangered birds. Your volunteer work supports biodiversity of the native forest, helps preserve endangered bird habitat and helps develop a seed bank for the future expansion of Hawaiʻi’s native forest. We host volunteers on weekends August through May and weekdays June 1 through July 31. Opportunities include:  potting seedlings, planting trees and shrubs, weeding and watering. We begin at 8 a.m. and end at noon. Lunch is provided. Please bring a hat/sunscreen, rain gear-if needed, sensible shoes and a water bottle. We provide water, gloves, and equipment. Thank you for your support.
